Galway coming up to Christmas , magical . All year round brilliant and exciting . For a relatively small place when we all pull together in the same direction we can achieve anything we want within reason eg soccer we had three middlin teams in the league of Ireland - pooled all resources together , voila , one of the most exciting teams in years to hit the Premier division . There is an unreal atmosphere on our streets , cannot put into exact words the pride I feel whilst walking through them - all tourists I have met are glowing in their praise for the place we all call home . Galwegians who move away regularly return to the party capitol of Ireland - only stage one will witness those returnees sad is upon departure . My point , appreciate how lucky we are to live in this great little town at the foot of Lough Corrib , never forget to smile and always give as many welcomes as possible . At the end of the day , we are the best ambassadors for Galway ;-)
