Gambia appoints new Solicitor General Posted by: APA Posted date : January 14, 2015 at 8:39 pm UTC 3 views In: Politics Lamin K Mboge has been appointed Solicitor General in Gambia, APA can report Wednesday.Mboge was the defense council for the former Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service and Minister for Presidential Affair, Njogu Bah who is jailed for fraud. The new Solicitor General worked as a private legal practitioner for 17 year, was until his appointment as Mr. Bah’s defense counsel. However, it is not clear as to who will now stand for Njogu Bah, who is currently standing trial against the state, on charges of office abuse.
