Game 2 goes to KPOP DOTO! My thoughts: -Warlock was not picked but they found a great replacement in tidehunter with an AOE ulti that can actually tank the damage of Miths carries like Slark and Razor. It was also a great decision for March to not go for dagger and instead he went for defensive items like blademail and meka. This shows that he knows that his role is to become the sponge that will absorb the damage of the opponent in order to create space for naga and furion. Im really liking this utility heroes with massive AOE stuns used by march from MVP. -Adjustment: Mith trust was forced to play a different playstyle which is far from their comfort zone. They usually play a 4-1 strategy in which the four players create space for lakelz, for him to get 2-3 core items and then Lakelz will join them after the space was created but this time, he was forced to use Razor which is not that strong of a hard carry. This showed that the team who adjusts and loses their playstyle will most likely lose because its hard to close games when your not playing the strategy that youre used to. -Execution: Execution is sometimes misunderstood because people think that execution is about using the right skills in the right sequence during a team fight but MVP showed us what real execution is about. Execution is about having a plan and being able to do what you actually planned even though things wont always come your way. From my point of view their plan was simple, Make mith adjust to our gameplay which is mid game dominance but get a stronger late game carry if ever things dont go as their planned. Conclusion: DOTA 2 similar to sports is all about preparation and execution. The team with a plan is always one step closer to win a series but it will take everyone in your team to be on the same page and execute the plan when the moment counts. MVP did their homework and they executed their plan flawlessly despite the hiccups. #Respectthescience #KPOPDOTO
