Game of Thrones Good Blog Post.... I hate that some people miss the point of the red wedding. Everyone who disliked the red wedding is a fool. Its not a happy story or a sad story, it is a real story. It´s life. Sometimes the bad men win. Everyone wants a fairy tale ending with King Robb charging into Kings Landing with Grey wind, Single handedly kill the mountain, Joffrey, save his sister and rule the Kingdom, the end. There is no main character, only the world of Westeros and we are just watching everything unfold. Just like life, we can plan and hope, but in the end life goes where it wants and it make take you with it or leave you behind to die. Hence, Life goes on. I was shocked and hurt when I read the red wedding. I felt so helpless, knowing what was coming and not being able to do anything about it. You want this character that you have grown to like to prevail. For someone to write a character that you grow so close to that it actually causes you to feel something when they die is extraordinary. This applies to any author. I know i have felt many different emotions in literature. That is what makes it so beautiful.
