Gamer of the Week - Austin Merritt Austin had an extremely productive weekend helping his 10U Gamers Moss team go 5-2 in USSSA Major State this past weekend. He hit an awesome .636 over 7 games going 7 for 11 including a double, 3 home runs and 13 RBIs! He also had 7 walks for a whopping .778 on base percentage! He pitched 8 innings and only allowed 4 runs! Austin trains with instructor Michael Garner who is Super proud of this weekends performance! Way to Game Austin! Fast-pitch Gamer of the Week Karsin Karsin plays left field for the 03 Elite Gamers Fastpitch OLeary. She began playing softball 3 years ago and has a huge heart for the game. Karsin loves to bunt and has often used her bunt to bring in critical runs during close games. She also displays Elite sportsmanship by being positive and maintaining a great attitude on and off the field, always using encouraging words to uplift her team mates. Karsin works hard in school as well. She is a member of the student council, Beta Club, and holds one of the highest GPAs in her grade. Karsin also loves to cook and aspires to be a chef and own her own restaurant.
