Gamma Beta brothers, if you see this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read this post! I know its long but itll just take a few minutes and itll be worth it! :) Fellow Pi Kapps from the Gamma Beta - Old Dominion chapter. My name is Brandon Barnhart and Im one of the 35 re-founding fathers of the Gamma Beta chapter. I recently graduated from ODU in May 2014 after spending only 3 short months as an active member of the GB chapter. Although my time as an active member was short lived, I was determined to continue making a difference in the community. After all, I joined Pi Kappa Phi to be a leader! I decided to do this by applying for the 2015 Journey of Hope team to ride across America on a bike to raise awareness for people with disabilities. I want to represent the Gamma Beta chapter at this national event and show that we are a top chapter that gets involved with the national fraternity. Ive been training each day and have been continuously trying to raise funds for our great philanthropy. So far I have raised $310.15 in half a month. My goal is to raise $1,000 by the end of September and $7,500 by May. (In order to keep my spot on the team I will have to raise at least $5,500 and be physical fit - but dont worry, Ill take care of the fitness part!) I ask you, my fellow Pi Kapp Gamma Beta brothers to help me represent our chapter by either spreading my message or donating to my personal page. Unfortunately fundraising has really slowed down since the start of my campaign, therefore I have decided to reach out to you, my fellow brothers, in order to turn this around. I joined this fraternity because I believe in our brotherhood and because I want to make a difference. I am ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENT that some of you will answer my call in need!
