Ganderbal,Feb.02: The residents of many areas in the district celeberated and took rallies to celeberate diffrent staus,s given to their areas. People beat drums and burest crackers in kagan Gund,wakura,Tullamulla,sherpathri and safapora to celeberate tehsil & block status, s in anounced for their respective areas. A big rally was taken by the residents of Gund area.The residents pay thanks to Mian Altaf Ahmad MLA kangan for his effort in giving status to Gund. we are highly thankfull Altaf sahib who took personal interst to sanctioning tehsil staus to Gund.The celebaraties said. Meanwhile the residents of Faakh Chhatergul and Manigam are aghast against CSC for not sanctioning block status,s to their areas. it is the misscourage of justice,we were ignored while creating diffrent adminstrative units though our area,s are deserved one,s, the agrieved residents said. In a statement Qazi Mohd Afzal sienior PDP leader said that the adminstrave units have been created to gain political benifites and on political bases. justice has not been done as many deserving areas have been ignored due to political reasons.Qazi said.
