Gandhiji & His India to-day Accidently i switched on gujarati girnar channel and listened to narayan desai on Gandhiji.He soke how one voluntarily accepted change in life and stayed in sabarmati ashram. he spoke about kishorbhai mashruwala-outstanding writer-vinoba bhave-social revolutionery and lastly on MIRABEN. Miraben was a daughter of a very top naval commander in britain and had lived in abundant luxury and wealth. she heard from Roma Rola and Beethovan about Gandhiji and spoke to him .when she expressed a desire to come and stay in ashram bapu permitted her but she told bapu that she will for one year train her life with frugal living and sleeping on mats before arrival which she did for one year and arrived and stayed in ashram thereafter. AT MY AGE OF 82 TEARS STARTED ROLLING FROM MY EYAES WHEN I THINK OF THOSE TIMES IN INDIA WHEN SERVICE OF PEOPLE WAS WHAT THEY LIVED FOR AND WHERE WE HAVE DEGENERATED IN OUR LIVES WHERE ME AND SELF ARE ONLY CENTRE POINT OF LIVING AND POWER AND MONEY MAKING ARE OUR ONLY GOALS! and we still pray to god to help us and bless us?
