Garagery Report: Rain, rain, love the rain, but it makes life in - TopicsExpress

Garagery Report: Rain, rain, love the rain, but it makes life in the Garagery just a little less comfy. Have the heater going and lots of extra blankets and beds for the kitties. Fortunately, I am down to 9, now 10 with the Feral coming home, in their crates. Why they wont just lie neatly in their beds I do not know. Why they simply must poop on their blankies and drag them into the litter? Beyond my ken. Now, however, having just been hit with a very large vet bill for the very sick kitties I took to LLAH, I will send out one plea, one only, that anyone who can toss in a few bucks, do so. The little grey kitten with coccidea (sp?) passed on he 27th, after 6 days of intensive care. His final bill was $210. The black feral, now home and snapped neg/neg for sanctuary purposes, was $459.00. This was a 50% discount on both kitties. Amazingly, the little feral girl was cradled in the arms of the young staffer who had been caring for her. She told me she only hisses but never struck out or tried to bite. You could tell that this girl truly loves what she is doing, and loves the kitties, and they pick up on it. Feral immediately crept into the carrier I had and is hunkered in the back. I will prepare a special crate for her so we can catch her for transport. So, feline peeps who read and follow my highs and lows, high times and crappy times, spend a little less on the holidays and help care for a kitty. Paypal is [email protected] and I thank you in advance.
