Gardeners, I just finished picking about a plastic grocery bag of green beans from my short(24 foot) row of pole beans, along with some tomatoes and cucumber. I had picked my beans clean 9 days ago, before going on our trip. Since the garden was looking poorly, and I wouldnt be back for 8 days, I decided to give it my own special concoction. This has not been proven or approved by any agricultural lab, as far as I know, but it seems to work for me. I am about to share it with you. I mixed up 4 parts of organic fertilizer; 4 parts of garden lime; 1 part commercial fertilizer, like 10-10-10, and 1 part Iron-rite. Now a part can be anything you want it to be, i.e., a handful or a cupful or a shovel full, but keep it in that ratio. I spread it under my beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, and even my geraniums and impatients. Then I watered it in well. Then I was gone for 8 days, and then results were amazing. It rained very little to nothing while I was gone. The beans were loaded. for you gardeners who know, I picked handfuls of beans just above the ground level. I cant remember seeing that on a late crop of beans. Everything was greener. The impatients, which were yellowing, were now green again and more lush than ever. Give it a try. It is time to spruce up your late summer garden or lawn. Follow this formula, and you will be amazed in 2 weeks or less. Good luck! kc
