Gardiner Gateway Project Update from Dick Anderson Construction: For this week of 11/3/2014: Dick Anderson Construction will be wrapping up the majority of work on the project. All water lines are installed and have been tested. All residents and businesses have been turned onto the new water main and the temporary water system is now being disconnected. All sanitary sewer lines are installed, however, one day of work remains on a sewer manhole on the intersection of Second and Main Streets. This work requires no excavation but will require traffic control through the intersection while the work is performed. Storm drain piping installation should continue and should be completed this week. Testing of the stormwater lines is expected to continue into next week. Dick Anderson will be sequentially filling in the holes along Main Street as the pipe is tested, and will be grading the roads smooth and working on general site cleanup. Full demobilization will occur over the next two weeks. This will be the last newsletter release for the project. Again we thank you for your cooperation and patience while the new systems were installed, and wish the town of Gardiner good luck with the following phases of the Gateway Project. ~Dick Anderson Construction.
