Gareth Bale refusing to let Tottenham chief Levy wreck dream transfer to Real Madrid Furious Gareth Bale has told Spurs chairman Daniel Levy he won’t allow him sabotage his world-record move, writes Darren Lewis in Madrid. The 24-year-old Welshman - set to become the most expensive player ever with an £86million transfer to Real Madrid - remains stunned at being ordered back from Spain to the club’s Enfield HQ by Levy earlier this week. But Bale blanked training with the north Londoners on Tuesday and is understood to be insistent that he would not be turning up on Wednesday morning either. Levy had demanded the winger’s return to London in protest at Real having already built a stage inside their Bernabeu Stadium to present him on, and started selling Bale shirts before Tottenham had had a chance to bring in their required replacements. It all meant Real were forced to postpone plans to unveil Bale on Tuesday and hopes faded as the day progressed that he would be presented before the end of the week. Midfielder Mesut Ozil, despite his own uncertain future with at the club, is scheduled to be presented at the Bernabeu on Wednesday as the latest signing for sportswear firm Adidas. It believed both events would not take place on the same day - one which will also see Real travel north for a friendly against Deportivo La Coruna. #yet
