Gareth Bale wants OUT After days of silence and ongoing speculation following a reported world record bid of £85m from Real Madrid for Gareth Bale, it seems as if there may be a solution in the days ahead. News broke Wednesday evening that the 24 year old Welshman has informed Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas of his desire to move to Spain. The biggest transfer news this summer seems to have taken a significant twist after Sky Sports sources confirmed that Bale indeed expressed his desire to leave White Hart Lane. Bale reported to training as usual but was in treatment for a muscle injury. He was believed to be in the training facility for about 5 hours and this is when he informed his manager that he wants out. Former Tottenham Hotspur player Jamie Rednapp also stated that it is inevitable that Bale will leave as the club always conducts business for ‘the right price.’ Rednapp made mention of Spurs selling former stars such as Michael Carrick, Dimitar Berbatov and Luka Modric who all left the club for big money. Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup also weighed in on the possibility of Bale moving to the Santiago Bernabeau. He said he thinks the Welshman has ‘the technical ability to play there’ but will also have to cope with the added pressure of playing in front of 90,000 homes fans every other week. Tottenham may well be forced to sell their star man but will now be able to add another big name to their ranks as they will generate a massive income from the sale of the Welshman. If Bale should go, Villas-Boas may well target Brazilian playmaker Willian of Anzhi Makhachkala after he expressed his desire to leave the Russian club. Writer: Yashiema Love
