Garris Chapel United Methodist Church, located near LaGrange, NC (about 10 miles east of Goldsboro), has an immediate opening for a part-time Youth Director to build young disciples for Christ. This person will serve as a spiritual leader and role model, and be responsible for coordinating and implementing all youth activities for grades 6-12. These activities will include, but not be limited to, worship, discipleship, mission, outreach, group building, trips, retreats and Conference youth events. The Youth Director will work closely with the Pastor and the volunteers of the youth program, as well as other ministries within the church. Garris Chapel UMC is seeking an energetic, creative person who is passionate about building relationships with youth and guiding them along on their faith journey.
