Gartbreck Distillery elevations Above is the facade overlooking Loch Indaal with Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte to be seen on the opposite shore. The front end of the still room is a glass gable which should keep our stills happy at work with such a great view. Below is the facade to be seen on arrival with the kiln topped by its pagoda in the best of the Charles Doig tradition. Building work is planned to start at the end of the winter break (you know then about the rain and mostly the wind on Islay!) by mid March next year. At the start of production by spring 2016 we will finally be rather busier than we had initially anticipated in having now been committed by a customer to supply him with 30.000 OLA/year of fillings for several years. No worry yet, we will fill not forget to fill at the same time the casks needed for our own use!
