Gary just returned from another CT scan....will know the results after it is read by a Radiologist. A friend, Joe Gingerich, came to visit Gary this morning. Upon hearing Joes voice, Gary opened both eyes like normal and stared at Joe for about 5+ seconds making eye contact. This is the longest time hes opened his eyes. We had a beautiful time of prayer, praise and worship anointing Gary with oil. The presence of the Lord permeated this room. Garys student nurse came in and said, I like coming into this room. God is at work! I will trust Him and stand on the promises His Word declares! Some may look at The Thompson Family and think these people are nuts and not living in reality of the real world. Im telling you folks, this IS the real world and Gods TRUTH will prevail. God desires a personal relationship with each one of us where He speaks individually to us through Scripture, the Holy Spirit, dreams, visions, other believers, a song, His creation, and circumstances. I have a relationship with the Living God who loves me and I will rest totally in Him no matter what my circumstances are because I KNOW God is with me. God’s Word is TRUTH and God never lies. The Bible has 66 love letters written to us revealing His True nature and how He expects us to live out our lives serving and loving one another. The Old Testament is Christ concealed with glimpses of Jesus woven into the fabric of every story told…read Psalm 39 and Isaiah chapter 53 and the New Testament is Christ revealed…read the Book of John with chapter 1 verse 1 telling us God’s plan and the Book of Romans. We cannot pick and choose what we think is true in Scripture. His Word is Truth, with not one word is placed there by accident. Hebrews 4:12 states, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” No matter the outcome here in Waco Texas, ma y Lord’s will be done!
