Gaslighting: a word used to describe when a person did something to hurt you and they deny what you remember them doing. Also means they will say something and amazingly...five minutes later when you call them on what you just heard, they will tell you they never said it. You know you just heard them say it, but they deny it. This causes one to scratch head, and get frustrated...dont bother going anywhere or arguing with these types of people who manipulate you...(I attract them like flies)...interesting...how many times have I heard statements made and then denied saying them...I KNEW I am not the crazy one here...I have had the unfortunate experience to have to educate myself on how to stop manipulation in its tracks...if you dont, you will eventually start to question your own reality and that is what they like...you get help and they get away with hurting you...for example...everything and every mistake ever made is going to be your fault and not theirs so you must either deal, or leave situation......and you better give up and know you will never get validation, acknowledgement of the pain they caused, or an apology...ever. I have had a very unfortunate experience of having to come to this conclusion and give up...and leave the situation without any sort of apology...or empathy...nothing. It hurts. Been there...sharing again knowledge if anyone is going through what I have been going through and continue to deal with it helps to know that you are never alone...:)
