Gassol LGA in Taraba State like-wise other States in Nigeria,at a Military check point,instead of normal stop and search process,military were seen collecting money from motorist and cyclist.Amassed the cyclist(Achaba) were,who in that earnly morning some had no cash on them,one who was close to me complained bitterly to one of the soldier to allow him work and come back and pay later in the day.Others who managed to "roja" were seen with their faces frowned.The check point in question is were cyclist has to step out and passenger(s) alight and trek pass the check point demarcation and continue their journey thereafter.one significant thing that happened I underscored was a comment by one of the fustrated passenger,uneducated,old Fulani women shrugged ,spoke in English and said, " Ahyi ahyi ahyi ahyi ahyi...........Nijeria jode fipuru". Reader please pray for Nigeria.
