Gather Together [Sunday, November 24, 2013] One Voice Ministries Brenda Kunneman “Know that the time and season is upon the earth when it is more important for My people to gather together. Worship together, learn together, and love each other. For as you assemble together, there is healing in your gathering that shall protect you against the time to come.” Prophetic Scripture: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). These days many people are making church attendance and time with fellow believers less of a priority. Some are replacing church attendance with online or television ministry. Others are simply not prioritizing Christian fellowship. However, we need time around our fellow members of the Body of Christ on multi-faceted levels. Church attendance is important because you are able to simply receive ministry, while small group sessions offer more of an interactive setting. We simply cannot survive without staying connected to God’s people and gathering together with them. Sure, no fellow Christian is perfect, nor is any church or group leader perfect. We are all people with flaws, but God has still chosen us to be the life source for each other. This will become even more necessary as the world we live in grows darker with each passing day. So no matter how busy you are, make church a priority and make time to be with fellow Christians. Gather together where you can exhort others and they can exhort you. It keeps us all on the straight and narrow and gives us a breath of fresh air after we face the world every day. There is healing and protection when we gather together. Prayer: Lord, I thank You for the Body of Christ. Thank You for the believers who You have put in my life for a divine purpose. I pray and ask Your blessing upon them and I commit to gather together with them. Amen.
