Gay movies arent usually very good. They are usually very low-budget and histrionic, especially those made in the eighties and nineties. They are getting better - I love Girls Will Be Girls and last years G.B.F. There are good films like Parting Glances and Weekend. But then there are movies like 2002s Ben & Arthur. This is an awful, awful movie. It was the seventh lowest-rated movie on IMDB for a while, but has since improved for some reason. I cant make fun of the lead actor/writer/director... Ive never made a movie. And I appreciate the sentiment behind this film. But by god its terrible. Like MST3K terrible.
