Gaz Rose (Kettering SA) has presented himself playing the solo with an orchestral-style presentation of Paul Lovett Coopers beautiful Donegal Bay (listen to it in its original form on Walking with Heros CD by The world famous Black Dyke Band). I was asked to prepare a lyric for this melody for a RAH presentation. It says in scripture that He knows our needs before we present them to Him. I read recently that Prayer needs to be about us aligning with His will, and being prepared to accept it. Our frequent presenting of shopping lists for favours from God should be set aside and lets just be with Him, in the moment, Loving His presence. My Simple Prayer encapsulates my view of all I need to obtain from my private devotions; just to know Hes there.
