Gaza today a father’s severed hand tenderly reaches out to his children across a splintered coffee table, amongst the debris of an obliterated home; bullets fired by gutless snipers cut down neighbours as they help a bereft mother reassemble her family on fractured pavement. babies are born under an occupied sky swarming with malevolent drones, in an overwhelmed ward choked with blood and burnt flesh; surgical strikes entomb frail bodies in hospital beds, ending brief lives that know only a world of detonating bombs and hissing missiles. little boys seek ephemeral refuge from the relentless bombardment of their besieged homeland on a beach, casting terrified eyes out to sea like fishermen’s nets endeavouring to catch freedom promised by endless rolling blue; pirate ships piloted by white sharks launch uncle sam’s shells at the shoreline, scattering bloody pieces of childish dreams across the sand. this is zionism white supremacy genocide.
