Geauga County Historical Society’s Century Village Museum is inviting the community for an evening of music and socializing April 26 at its second-annual Wine Tasting. The event from 2 to 7 p.m., will feature wines from six wineries from throughout the region and is part of a continuing series of events aimed at bringing the community together on the picturesque grounds of Century Village Museum. Historical Society Board President Bill Jackson said gatherings like the Wine Tasting and next month’s Rib Burn Off are in the spirit of community-building inspired by the positive response to Ohio Chautauqua, which Century Village Museum hosted in the summer of 2012. For tickets, call 440-834-1492. Cheese platters and tickets for additional tastings will be available at the event. Guests should be at least 21 years old.
