Gee, the guy, who reportedly killed 12 people in DC today, allegedly with an automatic or semi-automatic weapon, was from Texas? Probably had no problem getting that gun -- we are pretty proud of our gun-owning rights here. Shhhhesh, He would not have been able to strangle 12 people, but a coward with an easy-to-obtain gun can do so with no problem. I could write a sermon -- or a column -- about this. There is a culpability here and it falls upon the shoulders of those who rail against tighter gun controls and if falls, also, on us who want tighter controls but do nothing to foster it. If there is sin and if there is hell, I am confident that whoever or whatever sits in judgement will condemn those who -- by association and lack of action -- are guilty of being a party to such acts.
