Geelani concerned at plight of Kashmiri students in Haryana Srinagar, Nov 25: Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani has expressed serious concern over the alleged excesses against the Kashmiri students in a professional college of Haryana. “Instead of taking action against the perpetrators involved in incident, the police are harassing the Kashmiri students. They were taken to the police station for no valid reason,” said Geelani, in a statement today, adding that “Our youth are meted out ill-treatment and humiliation in professional colleges outside Valley. They are facing difficult challenges and are subjected to vengeance by police and communal forces. Our youth follow a clear stance with respect to freedom movement and it is the reason that they are being harassed on one pretext or the other.” “About six students were killed in mysterious circumstances outside state.
