In a statement Geelani said, “ #the_mission_of_ the #Martyersof #1931 is #still_incomplet eand the #present_freedom _struggleof #Kashmiris part of #that.” Statement further said, “the movement of 1931 was not only a rebellion against the tyrannical rule but it was a struggle started against the anti-Islamic attitude of the rulers of that time and it was a pure religious movement which was backed by the inner faith of the Muslims.”
