This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). Tukur, 79, resigned his position as the National chairman of the PDP on Jan. 15 and has since been replaced by former Gov. Adamu Muazu of Bauchi State.
