Gen 6:4 There were GIANTS in the land [Nephilim] We have a GIANT problem when we unite what is eternally true to what is not, resulting in a ‘monstrous mixture’, a hybrid creature of impure seed. Its speaking spiritually. The sons of God [what is true of us] co-mingled with [entered into] the daughters of fallen man [what is not true of us, what is fallen, the soul is the daughter/feminine and is earthly, see the Hebrew Interlinear, the soul is always referred to in the feminine form as a she and it was Eve, our soul realm that was deceived and whose voice Adam listened to [Gen 3:17] and which mating produced a monstrous mixture in our thoughts [a gross perversion of the truth] and these are the same GIANTS who were standing in the way of the Promised Land [knowing our pure, chaste, undefiled One and only Truth again, Christ our life who is the Promised Land Himself for, ‘in Him we live and move and have our being’] and so they must be conquered meaning our minds must be renewed UP in the Truth again before we can re-take possession of the land, ie Christ and never concede [shrink back] so much as one inch of Him. Then we hear, Babylon has fallen, who had become a dwelling and a haunt for every impure spirit [Rev 18:12] and means mixture, confusion.
