Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of opposition All Progressives Congress, APC has finally unveiled a six- point manifestos, which his administration will religiously pursue if elected to govern the affair of the country, come February 2015. The manifestos, which are summarized under Infrastructure, Environment, Politics & Governance, Jobs & The Economy, Security & Conflict Management and Society & Human Capital Development. The manifestos are 1. INFRASTRUCTURE The Buhari administration is committed to creating an enabling environment for all stakeholders with unprecedented rebuilding of our infrastructure, structures and systems. 2. The Environment. From protecting our environment from pollution to restoring our ecosystems and investing in natural disaster solutions, the Buhari administration and APC leaders are committed to working to address Nigeria’s biggest environmental challenges. 3. Politics & Governance Our politics is broken. Our nation urgently needs fundamental political reform and improvement in governance, more transparency and accountability 4. Security & Conflict Ressolution We will urgently secure the territorial integrity of the nation. We will never leave the defense of the nation in the hands of Hunters, Children, and Civilian JTF. 5. Jobs & The Economy Despite its significance to the national economy, the oil sector has not spurred real economic growth, has created very few jobs. Gen. Buhari and his team will fight to strengthen our economy further and create jobs for Nigerians. 6. The Society & Human Capital Development We will be focused on building the future of the Education, Healthcare, Youth, Sports, and Cultureg sectors; and will seek practical, valuable opportunities that empower and enhance the Women of Nigeria.
