Gen. Obasanjo was Nigeria military head of state till 1979, then some people brought him out 20 years after to come and rescue Nigeria because we couldnt do better than a man who voluntarily gave up power two decades before. He took us dancing in a circle for 8 years because his ideas at 68 years were apparently not better than his ideas at 40 years old. The next military guy to truncate the democratic institution he (Obasanjo) put in place when he still had brilliant ideas, Gen. Buhari, got kicked out of office by another military usurper 30 years ago when he (Buhari) was 42 years old. Now, some elements are begging him to come back and rescue Nigeria because we couldnt do better than the now 72 years old who got kicked out of office three decades ago? After Buhari, who are they going to be begging next? IBB? Is Nigeria Presidency destitute retired Generals rehabilitation camp? Where is common sense in all of these?
