Gen. Sidqi Subhi is the new Defence Minister of Egypt. He replaces Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi who has joined one man race for presidency. Gen. Al-Sisi is now out of combat clothes. He stepped into civilian dress to allow his team to forge victory into top state leadership. His political lifestyle though, shall never be civilian. Typical of an African politics which has a western backing, the democratic and the indipendent minds are swept to the side lines. Egypts Gen. Al-Sisi is guessing a way foward to bail out hands gripped by 1976 Camp David Acord with Israel. Its a likely disliked foreign policy in the western capitals. It means, some sorts of sympathy for the Palestine. The quest to arm the arny to equal footings with Israel. Its the time for Russias military industry to re-enter Egyptian defence purchase pipe line. What can Africa lean from a switch in and out between Gen. Subhi and Gen. Al-Sisi?
