Gen Yakubu Gowon appealed to Nigerians to bear with GEJ! The question is how long are going to bear with him? Is it until he drives us crazy? An average Nigerian under him av to contend with ill conceived privitization esp on energy when consumers are forced to pay for what is not consumed! There is poverty in the land yet the presidency budget for annual feeding is 1billion, as a Zoohologist, he,s keeping animals at Aso rock feeding them with public fund! No job, youth restiveness, militants threat & the viral one insecurity! Mere mention of Boko Haram now drives shivers down peoples spine! These were not the conditions under Gowon who ruled Nigeria for 9 yrs! As elder stateman, he should advise GEJ to step aside if cannot cope! Now it is the time for all fmr Heads of state to call on GEJ not to allow his personal interest to ruin the country! Afterall, IBB stepped aside when he realised that annulment was going to tear the country apart! Abdusalam also made sacrifice by quitting office within 9 months! Again, the man who put him there has also warned him of danger ahead! He should just listen & retrace his steps!
