Gender Equality in India - On 16th December 2012 a 23 year girl was gang raped while she was travelling with a Male friend in a private bus in Delhi. What happened after Delhi gang rape? 1. All 6 criminals are in jail, one of them killed by other prisoners. 2. Victims father got 25 Lakhs Rupees from government of India n collected Millions of Rupees from donations all over India. 3. Victims brother is now doing MBBS in Mauritius. without any fee and Entrance Exam. 4. Victim was sent to Singapore for better treatment. 5. Protesters destroyed public property all over country. People organized candle March, several rallies etc. 6. There is a Wikipedia page on this incident. 7. Several facebook pages for victim, some of them with more than 200000+ likes. 8. Ruling party Congress tried to introduce stupid laws like - If u stare at a girl for more than 10 seconds, If u follow a girl then u will b in jail. 9. India listed as 5th most unsafe place in the world for women by an American magazine. 10. Tourism dropped , nations image affected in front of the world. 11. Victims male friend was beaten by iron rod but he didnt get any attention from media n protesters. 12. For almost 8 months several Facebook pages kept on showing how brutal n bad men are but nobody paid attention that 3 people who took victim to hospital were also Men..!! Now lets talk about Amit garg who was burnt alive by his wife n mother in law- 1. Ask thousand people about him, hardly 2 or 3 people know what happened to him. 2. Police did not even file a FIR. 3. 75% burnt died after 4 painful days. 4. No protest, No candle March, No Wikipedia page. 5. My friends developed a Facebook page for him with only 446 likes right now.
