Gender Resource Centre, Delhi, conducted a mega health camp on 21st January 2015 reaching out to more than 250 people in the slum project of Kabir basti, Malkaganj. It was an umbrella event tailored to maximize the reach out through well maintained counters for medicine disbursement, Universal ID card procurement and health care services like HIV/AIDS testing, gynaecologist, ENT and child care specialists. The event was attended by the guest of Honour Mr. Shashidhar Nanjundaiah - Dean, India Today Media Institute, Ms. Prachi Kaushik, Nodal officer, Mission Convergence and Ms. Shweta, Project Co-ordinator MNGO, SOSVA. Mr. Shashidhar lauded the efforts of the Gender Resource Centres’ team and congratulated them on arranging a successful event. He also honored the best volunteers and SHGs with certificates and awards for their performance and contribution.
