Gene Kelly interviews kids ages 5-9 in NBCs Childrens Letters to God (February 16, 1969). All material was written by children with the exception of Kellys lines. Gathered from Sunday School classes and office dead-letter bins, here are some of the questions posed: Why are cows rough? After fish eat, shouldnt they come out of the water so they dont get cramps? Dear God, are boys better than girls? :) While Ive not seen the program, Ill agree with one Connecticut reporter: Kelly has always shown a good rapport with kids in front of a camera.
