Genealogy alert: I have been working at the Library part time for about 4 years in the Local History and Genealogy department. I work on a variety of projects, but it seems like my identity has evolved into The Genealogist. I will be expanding my role as an educator and coach this year. Starting in February, I will offer sessions on the first Wednesday evening of the month and one Saturday. If anyone is interested in pursuing research into their family history, let me know. We will have some computers available and the library edition of ancestry. You can also bring your own laptop and be able to get on. Since I am also the Registrar for the Washburn Chapter of the DAR, I can help people with research on their Revolutionary Patriots. And since my son did Genealogy through 4H, I can help families get their presentation books set up according to that method. The tentative title is Time Travelers Genealogy Guild.
