General Electric (GE) is selling its appliance division to Electrolux - please remember to be highly critical of Electrolux for not paying any US taxes on the deal because A) they are NOT a US corporation so they get to play by rules that everybody other than US companies have to play by B) they will have hundreds of millions of dollars of cost related to making the deal happen and C) they employ an army of lawyers and accountants that get paid to assure that the deal is in the shareholders (not any countrys) best interest. So, when you start throwing rocks at companies that dont pay any taxes dont forget Electrolux.
