General Greene who died in Afghanistan Major General Harold Greene was killed in Afghanistan on August 8, 2014 while proudly serving his country with honor for 34 years. He was the highest ranking officer in the military killed in action since 1972 during the Vietnam war. Major General Green was buried August 14, 2014 in Arlington National Cemetery, however, neither President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary of State Kerry nor the Secretary of Defense attended the funeral. (Obama was engaged in playing golf at Marthas Vineyard.) No flags were ordered to fly at half-mast for this Major General, but, they were for the black singer Whitney Houston who committed suicide. President Obama has made no mention of this highly decorated soldier and his service to our country, yet he spoke highly of Robin Williams who also committed suicide. Does anyone besides me find this very offensive and disrespectful to the veterans who have served our great country? But then again, why does this not surprise me. It has been the Presidents MO right along. He just seems to be getting more blatant and in-your-face about it. Do what you want with this email, delete it if you dont agree.
