General News / 23rd November, 2014 THE AMEER VISIT TO UWR Source : HINTS NEWS The Missionary in-charge of the Ahmadiyya movement Ghana, Mulvi Mohammed Bin Salih visits the upper west region to introduce himself to the Jamaat in the region following his appointment as the next Ameer of the Jamaat after the demise of Mulvi Dr. Wahab Adam. Mulvi Bin Salih was confirmed the Ameer of Ghana by the supreme head of the Ahmadiyya movement worldwide Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad some months ago. The new Ameer therefore took the turn to visit members of the jamaat in the country, and the upper west region was scheduled the last region to be visited by the Ameer. The Ameer hails from the upper west region and also one of the sons to the founder of the movement in the upper west region Alhaji Bin Salih of Jujeidayiri. A delegation was assigned by the National Amla (executives) to acompany the Ameer throughout the country. The Ameer and the delegation arrived in Wa on the thursday 20, November 2014 and was received at the Wa mission house, from there he traversed together with the Jamaat to the grave site at the Wa Ahmadiyyat central mosque and led the jamaat in a Duaa. He gave an address to the gathering, from there he proceeded to the RCC to extend his gratitude to the upper west regional minister, after that he had a meeting with the Waqfeen-Nou children (children dedicated to serve the course of Allah) and parents. In his address, Mulvi Bin Salih charge the Jamaat to continuo to be decipline in carrying out their duties and responsities. On the next day friday November 21, the Ameer visited the Wa-Liman, Yeri-Naa, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Wa, the Wa Tendaamba and the Wa-Naa (Chief of Wa) to equally extend his greetings. The Ameer also visited the Jamaat institutions in the region which included T.I. Amass SHS, Kaleo Ahmadiyya Hospital and Nusrat Jahan Teacher Training College of Education.
