General question - Id just like to know what everyone finds so good about having an allotment. Ive noticed recently a lot of younger people taking up allotments and find it interesting why so many have taken it up. For me its something to do together as a family as well as a bit of excercise. I also love the fact I know what has gone into the ingredients I use in cooking and what hasnt (ie chemicals). I also love the peace and quiet of the location of our plot and meeting new people :)
