Generally I dont pay much attention to what appears on the Root web page ..it tends to be mostly light weight and very poorly informed attempt at commentary aimed at the black community by mostly corporate interests. But here I think they are right..we need to get out in front of this recent murder of police officers and not let the mainstream media spin . Ismaaiyl Brinsley as being the face of the recent protest against police brutality and un- acountabiliy. Brinsley was not an activist as far as anyone can see..and his alleged comments about take two of theirs was not heard in the chants of any protest group I have heard...but this could be a perfect chance for the powers that be to criminalize the current protest movement in much the same way as they did to the Black Panther Party in the 1960s...theroot/articles/culture/2014/12/don_t_let_them_make_a_cop_killer_the_face_of_the_movement.html
