Generally I refrain from putting up statues on social media about calamities and lost lives as no matter how deep and genuine our condolences, we cannot begin to understand the state of mind of the families and loved ones involved. However, MH17 was different for me, my dad was to fly from Amsterdam to KL yesterday. By Gods Grace and some unknown stroke of luck, he opted to deviate from his usual MAS flight and take the next KLM flight that flies via the exact route! I cannot begin to thank God enough. It was a narrow escape but he is home, back to us, safe and sound. Life is uncertain, love people around you more, appreciate what you have and live everyday like its your last. My heart cries out for the lost lives, their families and loved ones. RIP
