Generous Father- Thank You for the gift of peace. Thank You for food, water and shelter. You are my provider and my strength. It has now been over two months since I moved. In the last year, God has enabled me to shed two roommates and find a place where there is quiet and peace when I need it. No more people stomping around and slamming doors and fighting. Being able to sleep through the night without cars driving next to my bed is such a gift. The house is not being shaken by sub-woofer gangs of young kids trying to show off. I don’t have to pick up trash from the yard every day. I have just really been grateful this week to recognize the blessings around me. I have a very good life and I feel God’s presence often. I believe I am on a path He has chosen. I don’t have much going on in my head this morning but gratitude. So I will just leave it at that. Thank You GOD! Remind me, Lord, that sometimes simple and brief is better. Help me to see the blessings in every area of my life. I pray for those who are bitter; that they may see a glimmer of hope in those around them and find blessings in the moment. Amen.
