Ecclesiastes4:9-10)Two are better than one, because they have a goodreward for their labor.(10) for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him that is alone when he falls. For he has not another to help him up./ Companionship is one of the greatest blessings we can gain from a stable and loving marriage. God recognized this when he created us. We need someone special who can share our ups and downs, triumphs and failures. No one can fill this role like a mate to share with us a deep love and commitment.
