It doesnt matter what you copy & paste in an update, as Facebook status updates are not any sort of binding document that can and must be recognized by legal authorities (if only they were. Cant wait for the day badly compressed .jpg image memes are introduced as evidence in criminal trials, and lawyers are citing Courage Wolf and Sarcastic Wonka as legal precedent) Anyway, if youre truly worried as to whether or not Facebook is going to improperly use any of your information, then your only real recourse is to leave Facebook.
