Gentlemen, 2015 marks the 150 year Anniversary of the American Sokol gymnastics Organization. In 1865, St. Louis Sokol became the first official unit of Sokol in the USA. Many of you know me and may have seen the memorable vintage gymnastics displays that I bring to USAG Congress every year. I have created a 150 Year History of Sokol display for this year. Many of you may have some connection to the Sokol organization either through a coach, competitions, your beginnings, clinics or just going to the famous Sokol Bars for a drink! You may have had a Czech teammate. I would like to know your connections. I have several projects, one is searching for Sokol gymnasts who competed, coach or just trained in colleges across the USA.
