Gentlemen, we are not a court of Church. For those who are - TopicsExpress

Gentlemen, we are not a court of Church. For those who are concerned about doing everything decently and in order, a public Facebook group is not the vehicle for either. If youd like to use the private Sidebar group to discuss the theological issues in question, then please do so. I ask that you all remember that along with the Purity of the Church, we have vowed to uphold the Peace and the Unity as well. Holding these three in tension and tandem is not easy, which is why it requires the work of the Spirit within us to accomplish it. The gentleman in question has had a trial. The Presbytery in question has found this gentleman not out of accord. In our quest for purity, peace and unity are in part achieved when we follow the process outlined in the BCO which is modeled on the one set down by our Lord. Opines on previously determined cases are no longer allowed in the public group. Thank you in advance for both your understanding and your adherence to these guidelines. Admin
