Genuine and true followers of our Lord Jesus Christ and truly believes the word of God, the Bible, do not conforms to the traditions of men whose traditions go against the teachings of God and of Christ clearly written in the holy writ. The tradition of the so called hollow-en is truly contradicted the teachings of the Bible. The tradition of men such as the , Hollow-en celebration was based on the wrong teaching that the soul of dead men do not die. According to their teachings, when a man died, if he/she do righteous deeds while still alive, when he/she died his/her soul went directly to heaven. However, when a person while still alive do unrighteous deeds most especially when he/she committed mortal sins, his/her soul went to hell directly at death, while those who committed venial sins, meaning to say they committed minor offenses and not mortal sins, their souls went to purgatory where they sufferers heat similar to that of hell. In order for their souls escape punishment from purgatory, according to their teachings, their relatives should offer prayers for their souls, preferably prayers from a priest in the chapel and/or church as many prayers that they can. But Some are offering Novena in their houses and also in the cemetery during all saints day and all souls day according to their tradition. The question is? How many souls were already released from purgatory? Unfortunately, even the priests have no idea. Therefore, this kind of tradition and belief that the souls of humankind do exist after his/her death is a blatant lie and utterly contradicted the teachings of the Bible. Clearly, the Bible said that when a man died his/her body returns to dust and his/her spirit return to God (Genesis 3:19; Ecclesiastes 12:7). What is a spirit? A spirit is the breath, mind, words, life and/or character of man who return to God at death. (Job 27:3; 1 Corinthians 2:10;11; 1 Corinthians 5:3 John 6:63; James 2:26;) The text does say that only the spirit of a good man returns to God, instead the spirit of all men whether good or bad. The Bible also said that a soul: is a living being and not an unseen entity that comes out from a dead person at death (Genesis 2:7) The Bible further said, the soul that sinned died (Ezekiel 18:4) Therefore, the teachings and doctrine that the soul of dead men die not is a blatant lie and utterly contradicted the word of God, the Bible. People who celebrates the all saints day and all souls day alleged that they just keep their memory alive for their dead relatives. What they forgot…. the fact is, they should show their love and sympathy to their relatives while they are still alive. When their relatives were already dead they can’t do nothing to entertain them even they celebrates the hollow-en tradition every year. Because dead person has no more part under the sun. Please read and study the following texts from the Bible: Ecclesiastes 9:5-7 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten: Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Ec:9:9-10: Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.Ec:9:10: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. • • Daniel :12:2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. John:5:25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.; John:5:28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, John:5:29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.; 1Thess:4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Revelation-20:5: But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Revelation- 20:6: Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. All the texts above clearly stated that the dead still in the grave (Sheol Grave- (Heb- Hades Greek) Whether they good or bad were still in the grave. Therefore, the teachings and/or doctrine that the soul of a good humankind who do good while still alive went to heaven at death, while the bad humankind who committed mortal sin his/her soul went directly to hell at death, and that the humankind who committed venial sins while still alive his/her soul went to purgatory according to them, is a blatant lies and therefore utterly contradicted the word of God, the Bible. . Friends, do not believe those lies because who believes a lie and teach it to other people will condemned (2 Thess. 2:10-12) No liar will enter into heaven but their parts will be in the lake of fire. (Revelation 21:8) It is about time that you should awake from sleep. Do not conform to the wrong traditions of men. Instead obey what the bible said. Obey His Commandment because following the commands of God is the whole duty of men (Ecclesiastes 12:13) God bless. •
