Genuinely touched to read that I would have made the top 20 on this list if Fact didnt think of me as an established act. As much as my name has been around all these years now, I definitely feel like the change in direction the past two years sets me out a little more like a newcomer. Im still reaching new ears every week through my Rinse shows, with new artists opening their fans up to my shows by re-posting them on platforms like Soundcloud. The fact that people have noted me as somebody they feel deserves more credit is very touching. I dont think of myself as a big name because I dont judge myself based on things I did 5 or 10 years ago - those things may well be the reason people know my name, but I base my status within the music industry on what Im doing currently. And to me, its very similar to what I did in the early stages of my career, playing music that excites me, and hoping more and more people hear what Im doing and enjoy it. With all these new genres and sounds appearing, its great to know so many of you felt like what Im doing deserves more ratings - and Im really flattered to know that so many of you mentioned me for the Fact piece. Its equally flattering that Fact held me in such a regard that I was too established to be mentioned as well - the whole piece gives an all round good feeling, and is a lovely thing to read!
