George Harrison wrote this. Eric Clapton had fallen in love with his wife. Eric had given a Les Paul guitar to George that had been owned by many rockers before him including Rick Derringer. As a peace offering, he gave the guitar to George. George loves the guitar and he names it Lucy after Lucille Ball. The peace offering mustve worked because George invited Eric to play on the song. In 1975 the guitar was stolen from Georges home.... And as Paul Harvey would say, in a moment Ill post the rest of the story.....
